Welcome to Noteverse! This privacy policy explains how we handle your data and protect your privacy when you use our app.
Noteverse is a notepad application that stores your notes on your device. The app also provides an optional feature where users can sign up for cloud backup of their notes. If you choose to sign up for this feature, we collect the following information during the signup process:
Additionally, notes you choose to back up are stored in the cloud for future access.
Your notes and user information are stored securely on Google’s Firebase Database. Firebase is a secure platform powered by Google, which ensures high levels of data protection and privacy for your information.
The information collected during the signup process is used solely for providing access to the cloud backup service. Your notes, name, email, and password are only used to allow you to backup and restore your notes.
We do not share your personal information, including notes, user details, or any other data, with third-party entities. All the information that leaves the app (when you opt for cloud backup) is stored on secure Google servers via Firebase, and no other parties have access to your data.
We take data security very seriously. All information stored on Google Firebase servers is protected using advanced security measures. However, please note that no system can be 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the complete security of data transmission or storage.
Backing up your notes to the cloud is entirely optional. You can continue using the app without signing up for the cloud backup service, and your notes will remain on your device.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app, and you will be notified of significant changes.
